Explanation of “Tracks”

AOIT offers two “tracks” to students. Students are required to follow at least one of these tracks in order to complete their coursework required to graduate from AOIT. Regardless of track, all students will take Principles of Information Technology (9th grade), and Programming I (10th grade).

The two tracks and the courses contained therein are as follows:

Applications and Web Development
Principles of IT – 9th grade
Programming I and Multimedia and Webpage Design – 10th grade
E-Commerce I – 11th grade
E-Commerce II – 12th grade
Computer Programming
Principles of IT – 9th grade
Programming I and Programming II – 10th grade
SAS Programming – 11th grade
AP Computer Science – 12th grade
